Goryo Shrine

妻と私は、先日鎌倉へ観光に行きました。雨が降っていてもあまり気にしませんでした。

御霊神社は旅のハイライトの1つでした。

この神社はおよそ千年前に建設され、自然と調和した森の手前に有ります。

神社の聖地を歩きながら平安時代を想像しやすい感じです。しかし，空想をしていると数分おきに走ってくる江ノ電の電車の音で現実に戻されます。

御霊神社は，本場の過去と現在が融合されているので楽しい体験となりました。

My wife and I didn’t let the rain bother us too much during a visit to Kamakura.

Goryo Shrine was one of the highlights of our day. It was built appropriately a thousand years ago and sits at the foot of a forest in harmony with nature.

It’s easy to imagine that you’re back in ancient Japan while walking the sacred grounds of the shrine. The sound of the approaching Enoden train which runs along the boundary of the shrine will bring your thoughts back to the present.

The blending of the past and the present in an authentic way made Goryo Shrine a pleasant experience.
