マイストーリー
写真を見てお気づきの方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、私はアメリカ人と日本人のハーフです。日本で生まれ、アメリカで育ちました。子供のころから2ヵ国語を話しています。これまで、ビジネスやプライベートで太平洋を100回近くは往復しています。
大手日系自動車メーカーのアメリカ現地法人に30年勤務し、企画や生産に関わる仕事に従事しました。早期に退職した後は、1年半妻と世界中を旅して周り、30ヵ国以上訪れました。その後妻の両親の近くに住もうと東京に居を構えることにしました。
在職中は、多くの日本人、アメリカ人を教え、言語スキルだけでなく、コミュニケーションスキルについても指導し、大小様々なグローバルプロジェクトで彼らが海外の同僚と絆を深めることに貢献しました。エグゼクティブ、エンジニア、サプライチェーン担当の集まる会議でも、業務効果、グローバル協調、製造技術などのトピックに関する基調演説を行う名誉にあずかりました。
今後は、私のスキルと経験を活かし、クライアントの方々が英語を戦略的資産として活用できるようサポートしたいと考えています。私はクライアントお一人おひとりのポテンシャルを見抜き、その人に合ったやり方で目標とする結果を出すことをお手伝いします。

You may have guessed by looking at my photo that I'm biracial, or more specifically, Japanese and American. I was born in Japan, grew up in the United States, and have spoken both languages since I was a child. I've made close to a hundred trips across the great Pacific Ocean during my life for both business and private matters.
After a thirty year career working in various planning and production related positions for a major Japanese automotive company in the United States, I decided to take an early retirement. My wife and I traveled around the world for a year and a half, visiting over thirty countries, then decided to settle down in Tokyo to be closer to her parents.
During my business career, I mentored many Japanese and American business associates on not only their language skills but their communication skills as well. I helped them to truly connect with colleagues from across the world on projects both large and small. I've had the honor of making keynote speeches at gatherings of executives, engineers, and supply chain professionals on topics related to operations effectiveness, global collaboration, and manufacturing engineering.
Now, I am using my skills and experience to help my clients fulfill their potential using English as a strategic asset. I recognize the potential in each one of my clients. With a customizable approach, I can help you get the results you're seeking.
